Funding Schemes

Carbon Rewind's primary objectives are to reduce fuel poverty, reduce carbon emissions and give our customers warmer homes. We have helped thousands of customers do so and strive to help many more! Higher energy bills are a worry for many homeowners and finding new ways to improve and manage those heating expectations is becoming an ever-increasing priority.

Home energy improvements does mean spending money to reap the benefits of a warmer home - this is where we can help. We offer funding through the Energy Company Obligation (ECO) scheme and the Local Authority Delivery (LAD) scheme.

The ECO scheme was introduced to assist homeowners with home energy improvements, including first-time central heating systems for those who are currently using electricity as their main source of heating. The scheme operates UK-wide and sets out obligations for energy companies to assist residents with these home energy improvement measures – allowing us to draw down this funding and help fight the growing number of homes currently in fuel poverty.

The LADS scheme aims to raise the energy efficiency of low-income and low energy performance homes (those with Energy Performance Certificate (EPC) ratings of D or below), including off gas network homes. The measures available include insulation (solid wall, cavity wall, under-floor, loft, room in roof) and low carbon energy or heating (air source heat pump, ground source heat pump, solar photovoltaic panels).
